This is Mother Earth's premium finch seed mix.  The blend includes fine sunflower chips and Nyjer (thistle) which are the nutrient-rich and high-energy ingredients most appealing for goldfinches, house finches, purple finches, pine siskins, common redpolls, chicadees and other small songbirds. 

The blend is perfect for use in all varieties of finch feeders designed with small openings for these smaller birds.  These seeds do not germinate keeping your backyard clean from pests and sprouting plants.
