Mexican Hot Chocolate was traditionally prepared by grinding cacao beans, and blending in hot milk or water, sugar and cinnamon. Today, La Monarca Bakery's signature Mexican Chocolate Beverage Mix is made with fair-trade cacao, which is ground in-house with a custom blend of sugar and spices. They use only simple ingredients with no artificial flavors or preservatives, to make a rich & frothy hot chocolate.
